The Manufacturing Universities Act of 2015

Our Department Chair, Kemper Lewis, was in attendance this month to support new legislation that will help train New York's workforce.  The Manufacturing Universities Act of 2015 will designate 25 universities and 'Manufacturing Universities' and provide schools with incentives to better align their educational offerings with the needs of modern manufacturers.

3-D printing is going to change daily lives

Kemper Lewis, Professor and Chair of the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering was quoted in the Buffalo News.  “3-D printing is going to change a lot of the ways we go about our daily lives,” said Kemper Lewis.
